Lalitha wants to get her nerdy, jobless son Bharani married as soon as possible. Sowmya, just out of a relationship with Dharani, agrees to marry Bharani, but her friends Soniya and James have other plans. On the day of their Sangeet, Dharani shows up unannounced, while Bharani, with the help of his aide Poosani, finally invents the dream machine he has been working on for five years.
