Know Your Ride: E-Bike, E-Moto & E-Scooter Info Day
Not everything sold as an “e-bike” is one. Some are e-motos, electric motorcycles that aren’t legal on streets, bike paths or the American River Parkway trail.
Stop by and talk with the American River Bike Patrol, California State Parks OHV Partnership & Outreach and Sacramento County Parks. Our representatives know these vehicles and the laws that cover them.
What you’ll find:
✅ Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes on display and explained
✅ How to tell an e-bike from an e-moto
✅ California laws for e-bikes, e-motos and e-scooters
✅ Tips for parents and holiday shoppers before you buy
📍 William B. Pond Recreation Area, Mile 13.5, American River Parkway
5700 Arden Way, Carmichael
🚲 Trail reminder: Only Class 1 and 2 e-bikes are allowed on the Parkway trail. Class 3 e-bikes and e-motos are not. Walkers and runners stay left, cyclists stay right.
Drop in anytime between 10 and 2!
