Knit & Knatter (SOAS Library Knitting Club) — in the Gallery

Join us for a relaxed crafting social in the SOAS Gallery, set against the backdrop of — a stunning new exhibition celebrating the richness and skill of Afghan textile traditions from the Karun Thakar collection, developed in collaboration with the V&A Museum.

Whether you're mid-project or just starting out, come along, find a seat, and stitch in good company. This is a laid-back social session — no instruction, no agenda, just good conversation and creativity surrounded by beautiful embroidery. And yes, the gallery is air-conditioned — a rare treat for a London August.

What to bring

• Your current knitting, crochet, or needlework project
• Your own needles, hooks, and yarn

No equipment or materials will be provided. All skill levels are welcome.
