Kisa (Olson) Deen and her husband, Jeremy, live in Onawa with their two children, Kyler (13) and Tinley (6). Kisa graduated from West Monona in 2007 and Jeremy graduated from Whiting in 2005. Kisa is the owner of one of Onawa’s news businesses, The Forgotten Attic and is also known as our town’s favorite Tupperware Lady. Just one week after opening her new storefront, Kisa was diagnosed with cervical cancer.Kisa will be staying in Omaha while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, while Jeremy will continue to work and care for their children at home.
Kisa is deeply involved in our community. While serving on the Onawa Harvest Festival Committee, she has helped raise thousands of dollars that has been reinvested back into our community. Kisa has also been an active member of the Onawa Business Alliance. She worked at the Onawa pool for many years. She has also worked at the school and has been a cheer coach and prom sponsor.
After spending many years giving back, it is our turn to help support this local family. Please join us for a benefit in support of Kisa and her family. All proceeds will help with medical expenses, travel expenses, and daily needs during her treatment.
