Welcome to an evening of Kirtan & Ecstatic Dance at Emerge Lakefront!We will weave together music from India's Bhakti yoga tradition with special songs from indigenous people of the Amazon and other parts of the world.
Afterwards, Lakefront resident Helena will then guide you through movement, freedom, and self-expression through dance!Step into a space where music becomes the guide and your body the instrument.

Friday November 14th, 18.30-22:30 PM. (Tea will be served from 17:30)
Location: Emerge Lakefront, Herbert Widmans väg 5A, Sköndal.
Suggested donation:
200 – 300 kr Swish (Children under 12 free)
Free for Lakefront residents

For those who want to come early a special organic tea from the Himalayas will be served by our tea master friend Joakim (for a small donation). Starting at 17.30.

Kirtan
Kirtan is part of Bhakti yoga (the yoga of devotion), which has its origins in India.During kirtan, mantras are sung together that often have a symbolic meaning and help us focus on different positive attributes & qualities, the song carries with it a vibration to help us connect to ourselves and celebrate life in a heartfelt way!
The music from the Amazon comes from different tribes where the songs usually call in the spirits from nature to share their healing and wisdom with us.
Ecstatic Dance Immersion
Lakefront resident Helena will guide you through movement, freedom, and self-expression!Step into a space where music becomes the guide and your body the instrument. Here, there are no steps to follow and no expectations - only an open invitation to move as you feel.Through rhythm and flow, we create space for joy, release, play, and authentic expression. All emotions and states are welcome: lightness, depth, wildness, stillness.Come as you are. Dance what you feel inside. Leave renewed.Together, we honor the beauty of being alive!

We who will share this evening with you are:
Victoria has been practicing & teaching yoga for several years. Has a deep love for music, kirtan and Ceremonial songs from tribal communities in South America.
Fredrik’s interest in songs and music as a form of meditation has continued to evolve over the years. The practice of Kirtan deepened after traveling in India and continues through singing with friends and learning from teachers from different cultures and traditions.
Alia has been practicing yoga since she was a kid and her love for Bhakti Yoga and mantras grew deeper in 2019 while travelling in India.
Martin has been studying cultural music from different corners of the world. This night he will bring harmony and rhythms with the South American charango. Let’s meet in joyful celebration
Renzin is a weaver of sound through spirit. Playing flute, sings, and a practicing music producer who carries the breath of the earth through his melodies guided by the whisperer of the wind. His music influences is from India, Bangladesh and South America. This evening he will share his voice and his flutes.
Helena has a background from the corporate world, focusing on healthcare transformation. She is now living her purpose through Mindset & Embodiment coaching and Vibrations work (Ecstatic Dance & Sound Journeys) to promote preventive health and wellbeing, and guide people to feel fully f-ing alive!
Ziya lives at Lakefront. With a bubbling, joyful and contagious energy, she is graciously organizing this evening and supporting on practical things.
