Kinusaiga: The Art of Fabric Painting
About this Event
Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form where colourful fabrics are tucked into a pre-designed template to create a beautiful, textured piece, no needle, thread, or painting required, just fabric, pattern, and a steady hand. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the technique piece by piece as your fabric collage comes to life within its frame.
Choose from a selection of beautiful fabrics to make your piece your own, and enjoy a relaxing, creative afternoon that's just as suited to first-timers as it is to experienced crafters. Leave with a framed piece of fabric art you made yourself.
