Denver-based King Cardinal has released their second full-length album Land Lines a project that showcases their DIY ethos and evolution as a band. Self-produced largely at their homebase studio Clubhouse Recorders Land Lines reflects the spirit of the Denver community with contributions from notable local artists like Anna Morsett (The Still Tide) Sarah Anderson (Heavy Diamond Ring Paper Bird) Ben Wysocki (The Fray) Jess Parsons (Bluebook) and Chris Weist (Wood Belly). This diverse collection blends blue-eyed soul Dad Rock experimental synth and folk into a cohesive musical journey. The core trio of Brennan Mackey (vocals/guitar) Ben Waligoske (pedal steel) and Jonah Wisneski (guitar) forms the heart of King Cardinal's distinctive sound. Notably King Cardinal has an impressive touring history sharing stages with artists such as Ben Sollee Darlingside The Wallflowers The Futurebirds Sam Outlaw and Israel Nash.
