Do you have a child—or know a neighbor—who will be starting kindergarten in the 2026–2027 school year? Mason City Schools invites families to attend the Kindergarten Pre-Registration Meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Mason Early Childhood Center.This parent-only meeting will provide an overview of what families can expect in Mason kindergarten, including daily schedules, developmental readiness, registration requirements, and next steps for enrollment. Families will also have the opportunity to learn more about how Mason supports young learners socially, emotionally, and academically as they begin their school journey.
✨ Special Mason Moment! Families who attend will receive a FREE “Class of 2039 Comet Kid” yard sign to celebrate their incoming kindergartener and proudly welcome them to the Comet family.
