Join us for Back to Basics, a hands-on Shibari workshop designed for participants of all experience levels. Whether you’re new to rope or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a safe and inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds, orientations, genders, body types etc. to hone their skills. This class will be divided into two groups based on skill level to ensure everyone can learn at their own pace.

Beginner Group

This group is perfect for those who are newer to rope or looking to strengthen their foundation. Topics include:

• Single column ties

• Double column ties

• Tying blindfolded to help develop muscle memory and confidence by practicing without sight.

Intermediate Group

For participants with prior experience, this group offers an opportunity to really sharpen your skills further. Topics include:

• Tying single and double columns blindfolded

• Tying on a moving partner to learn adaptability and how to work with a partner in motion

• Tying on a resisting partner to practice how to maintain control, work through body mechanics, and expand the type of rope play you can have with partners

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or blanket to sit on. We'll provide drinks and snacks, but you're welcome to bring your own favorites. While everyone is encouraged to bring their own rope, we’ll also have some available to borrow.

About Arkady

Arkady is an experienced Rigger, & Dominant, who has been fine tuning his skills since 2000. He led various groups and events such as Guerrilla Shibari, Miami Munch, Sunday Bound, and Club Kult to name a few.

About OhLittleCow

Ohlittlecow has been an active member of the kink community for two years and practicing shibari for one and a half with a strong interest in self tying and knowledgeable bottoming. Passionate about helping others explore their own rope journey in a safe and welcoming environment, they approach rope as a form of self-expression and connection.
