Come experience fiery upbeat Congolese music on Lincoln Boulevard! The Kilo Sextet is returning to TR!P Santa Monica on Saturday February 15th from 8pm-10pm. Featuring the legends Huit Kilos on lead guitar and Parigo Asuka on drums (original members of Tabu Ley Rochereau’s group Afrisa International) the band will also include Kamale Lutumama on vocals, Julian Apter on rhythm guitar, Maxwell Fleischman on bass, and Zach Gotler on percussion. $10 cover charge.
