This is a great introduction to animation! Students will learn how animations are created and how animators work. Students will work in small groups to create original characters, develop character sheets, storyboards, and understand basic filming terminology (such as camera moves (i.e. tilt, pan) and camera shots (i.e. close up and long shot) and learn how to edit and add sound effects in post-production practices. The Session will end with students completing at least two original animation shorts. Students, friends of students and parents will be invited to an end of the Session Animation Festival complete with popcorn date TBA!
