In this *NEW* and innovative class, we will be making all kinds of sculptures out of.... Cardboard! This accessible and wonderful medium has limitless possibilities. Students will be invited to explore the potential of this medium and create a multitude of sculptures including animal sculptures In-The-Round, Abstract Relief Sculptures and sculptures inspired by music, machines and more! Students will learn to manipulate the material to create rounded forms and develop building skills. If you are looking for a way to engage your child with imagination, then this class is for you!
Class Requirements
Students are welcome and encouraged to bring their own cardboard (from deliveries, for example) but we will also have cardboard on hand in studio!
