Join us at Brookline Booksmith to practice hands-on STEM fun with Science Horizons! This free event is designed for kids six and up.
Workshop Description:
Join Science Horizons for a free hands-on STEM workshop where participants will create their own colorful density jars while learning about the science of density and why different liquids stack instead of mixing. Kids will explore basic chemistry concepts through a fun, interactive experiment and leave with their own layered density jar to take home. This activity is best suited for elementary-aged students.

About Science Horizons
Science Horizons is a student-led STEM outreach initiative founded by two high school students with the goal of making science hands-on, engaging, and accessible for younger students. Through free workshops at libraries, bookstores, and community spaces, we introduce kids to STEM through fun, interactive activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.
