Kids Spring Break Candle Making Class with Canvas Candle Company

Discover the Art of Candle Making:

We have taken our traditional candle making classes and tailored them to be enjoyed by a younger audience! This class is geared towards helping kids aged between 8-14 years old under stand the basics of candle making in a fun and safe way for their age. Participants will enjoy decorating and creating their own labels, learning the basics of candle making and pouring two of their own candles with the help of our team.

What to Expect:

We welcome you into our studio to get a true behind-the-scenes look at how we make our candles! Enjoy a welcome snack and refreshments as we tour our facility and pouring room, then learn the basics directly from our team.

In this class, we will delve into the fundamentals of traditional candle making. From understanding different wax and wick types to selecting scents and mastering pouring techniques, you'll learn the step-by-step process of creating your own beautiful candles.

• Introduction to Materials: Get acquainted with various candle-making supplies, including soy wax, fragrances, wicks, and containers.
• Hands-On Experience: Dive into the creative process as you learn the step-by-step process that goes into creating your beautiful candles (with all our tips and tricks included)
• Scent Selection: Explore a wide array of fragrances and choose the perfect one for you!
• What You Get: 2 x 6oz tin candle valued at $20 each and 15% off all Canvas Candle Company products while in studio.

Who Can Attend:

This class is open to kids aged from 8 -14 years old. Parental participation is encouraged for children 10 and under.

Class Details:

• Duration: 11AM-12:30PM, approximately 90 minutes (street parking available)
• Location: #104 20220 113B Ave, Maple Ridge
• Materials: All materials and equipment will be provided. Please note that candles will need to set for 24 hours prior to taking them home. Candles can be picked up from our studio Monday to Thursday from 9AM-4PM, or we can also arrange to have them shipped to you following the class.
• Limited Seats: To ensure personalized guidance, class size is limited to 6 seats per class.
• Cost: $60 per child
