Join us at Hartzell Lake on the Memorial Hospital campus, 1454 N. Co. Rd. 2050, Carthage, IL 62321, for a fun-filled fishing contest designed just for kids!
Details:
- Registration begins at 12:30 PM.
- Ages 15 and under - must be accompanied by an adult.
- The first 50 children at the event will receive a free fishing pole.
Although pre-registration is encouraged, it does not guarantee a free fishing pole.
- Catch and Keep contest format (Filet station available onsite).
- Use of live minnows for bait is prohibited.
- If you plan on helping a child fish, per Illinois law, you must have a valid fishing license. This includes baiting, casting, netting, taking a fish off the hook, and similar activities.
