Kids Color Meditation is a calming, supportive meditation hour designed especially for children ages 7–12. Through gentle guided imagery, color visualization, and simple body awareness, children are invited into a peaceful inner space where they can relax, reset, and feel safe being themselves.
This experience helps children learn how to notice their emotions without feeling overwhelmed and gives them practical tools they can use anytime they feel anxious, overstimulated, or unfocused. By working with colors and imagination, kids naturally engage their creativity while building emotional awareness and confidence in a way that feels fun and approachable.
This meditation hour supports children with:
Emotional regulation and self-awareness
Anxiety relief and calming the nervous system
Self-soothing and coping skills they can use at home or school
Improved focus and a sense of inner calm
Building confidence and trusting their inner feelings
The class is taught by Erin Mello, a Reiki Master, experienced school teacher, and Special Education professional with a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Erin brings a gentle, nurturing, and inclusive approach, creating a safe and encouraging environment where every child feels supported.
No prior meditation experience is needed—just comfy clothes and an open imagination. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to slow down, feel grounded, and learn lifelong emotional wellness tools in a caring space.
