Kids Car Care Classes with Eaton Academic
About this Event
Pop the hood and step inside a real garage mindset. In Car Care, kids trade the classroom for hands-on work, learning how the machines their families rely on every day actually run. Each Friday they gather around real parts and real tools, asking questions, getting their hands a little dirty, and discovering that a car is far less mysterious than it looks.
Over six weeks, students learn to check oil and fluid levels, read a dipstick, test tire pressure, and spot worn tread. They find out what the dashboard lights are trying to say, how headlights, blinkers, and wiper blades are checked and changed, and why regular maintenance keeps everyone safe on the road. Every skill is taught step by step, with safety first and plenty of room for curiosity.
What kids really take home is confidence. There’s a special kind of pride that comes from being the one who knows how to check the tires before a family road trip, or who can explain what’s under the hood to a grandparent. Students work in small teams, so they learn to communicate, take turns with the tools, and solve problems together, just like a real crew in a real shop.
Car Care is perfect for the kid who takes things apart to see how they work, loves anything with wheels, or simply wants to learn a practical life skill that will serve them for decades. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to roll up their sleeves. Spots are limited, so register early.
