Kid's Canvas Paint Night - Thanksgiving Turkey

Get ready for a feathered fun time at our Turkey Paint Party!
This kids-only canvas paint night is all about creativity and color. Each young artist will paint a Thanksgiving turkey on canvas, complete with a rainbow of patterned feathers. From polka dots to stripes, zigzags to swirls, kids will explore different patterns and techniques to make their turkey truly one of a kind.
What You'll Make:
Each child will create one finished 11x14 canvas painting featuring their own turkey design. We'll guide them step by step through the turkey body, then let their imaginations run wild as they design colorful, patterned feathers.

Ticket Information:
Each child attending must have a paid child's ticket. At least one responsible adult must be present throughout the event for each group of children. Adults accompanying children must register for a free adult ticket, as space is limited and we need to plan accordingly. Additional adults beyond the required chaperone must also register for a free adult ticket. Adults are expected to assist their children with the slime-making process as needed. If an adult would like to make their own slime, they must purchase a regular child's ticket.
Ages: Recommended for children 5 and up.
This class is perfect for little hands and big imaginations. No experience needed, just a willingness to get a little messy!

Info: A warm welcome to Artsome. We'll hand out canvases, paints, brushes, and aprons, and give a quick overview of what they'll be painting.

Painting the Background
Info: Kids will choose their background color and paint the entire canvas. We'll offer tips on covering the canvas evenly and creating a nice base for their turkey.

Painting the Turkey Body
Info: We'll guide kids step by step as they paint the turkey's body.

Adding Patterned Feathers
Info: Kids will paint colorful feathers around their turkey, using different patterns like polka dots, stripes, zigzags, and swirls. We'll offer ideas and encouragement as they make each feather unique.

Details & Finishing Touches
Info: Kids will add final details like eyes, a snood, and any extra embellishments to complete their turkey. We'll help with any touch-ups and sign their artwork.
