AGES: 9-13 (approximately grades 5-8)
Times: 8:45 -12:00
1st July until August 31st
All materials are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own art supplies.
A minimum of 3 registrations is required for the class to run. Max class size is approx 10
Teacher: Hello! My name is Mishel Arrieta. I am a certified school Teacher with a specialization in fine arts and special education (Graduating from UBC and KPU). I have been working in schools since 2017. I was part of the AIRS program in Vancouver, bringing art to elementary schools in the area.
Who is this for? Students who are interested in art, such as sculpture, drawing, painting, mixed media, etc.
What will we do? Arrieta Art Studio offers a wide range of art workshops. Over the month, they will learn different art styles, how to use specialized materials (oil paint, lino cut, needle felting, clay, etc.) They will also be given time to work on their own personal projects.
