WHAT IS KICKS & THREADS?
Kicks & Threads is a free community back-to-school event for kids Kindergarten through 12th grade featuring:
• A pop-up shoe shop
• A thrift fill-a-bag thrift experience
• Community support in a fun, welcoming atmosphere
This event is open to ALL families — not based on income. Thrifting unique finds is trendy right now, especially for junior high and high school students, and we wanted to create an experience that feels exciting, fun, and accessible for everyone in our community.

👟 SHOES FOR KIDS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We are currently collecting:
• New shoes of all sizes
• Gently used shoes
• Cleats for all sports, new to good condition.
• New socks
All donated shoes should be in GOOD condition with:
✔ No holes
✔ No major scuffs/damage
✔ Plenty of life left in them

HOW IT WILL WORK:
• We will have our pop-up shoe store in the main entrance & fill-a-bag thrift store in the gym. So you'll pick a line when you arrive.
• We want everyone to have a great shopping experience so we will only be letting in a few families at a time, so be prepared to wait in line outside.
- We will provide the bag for thrifting.
• Our goal is for every child to leave feeling confident and supported heading into the new school year

🛍️ FILL-A-BAG THRIFT EXPERIENCE

Every child Kindergarten through 12th grade will receive a bag upon arrival to fill with:
• Clothes
• Accessories
• Good finds
• Trendy pieces
• Everyday basics
✔ FREE
✔ Open to EVERYONE
Whether your kids love vintage finds, streetwear, trendy pieces, basics, or just good deals — this experience is for them.
We wanted to bring the fun thrifting experience closer to home so families don’t have to drive into Houston to enjoy it.

We are accepting donations during the following times:
Mondays: 10AM–3PM
Tuesdays 9AM - 3PM
Wednesdays: 6PM–8PM
Thursdays: 10AM–3PM
Sundays: 9AM–11:30AM

• New & gently used clothes sizes kids 5T to adult men’s & womens.
• Local business partners willing to host donation baskets
