Get ready to step into vibrant Rainforest Falls!
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Invites Children to "Rainforest Falls" Vacation Bible School (VBS): Exploring the Nature of God.
A summer kids’ event called Rainforest Falls VBS will take place from Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24.
At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God—discovering who God is and how much he loves them!
Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies, and test out sciency fun experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Canopy Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for
this special time at 8:15 p.m.
Rainforest Falls is for kids from pre-k (potty trained) thru completed 5th grade and will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day. For more information, call the parish office at 281-837-8180 or email to [email protected].
*optional dinner available from 5:30-6 p.m.
We are always looking for parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles willing to help organize or run the various stations during camp. Teens in grades 6 through 12 are welcomed as volunteers and are able to earn community service hours. Please consider sharing your time and talents in making another memorable week for our VBS!
