Kick-Axe Speed Dating is BACK! After a great turnout at our first event, we're changing things up this time with two separate age groups, giving everyone a better opportunity to meet singles closer to their own stage of life.
This isn't a stuffy dating event. It's Axe & Ale House.
Expect quick conversations, plenty of laughs, icebreaker questions when you need them, drinks, games, a little friendly competition, and a room full of other people who decided they'd rather meet someone face-to-face than swipe through another dating app.
❤️ Three SPEED DATING SESSIONS
Session 1 — Ages 50+
Speed Dating: [6PM]
Session 2 — Ages 39–55
Speed Dating: [7PM]
Session 3 — Ages 25–40
Speed Dating: [8PM]
Age ranges are recommended to help create compatible groups.
Space in each session will be limited so we can maintain reasonably balanced groups. Registration is $20 and includes your first beverage. Register early!
🪓 HOW IT WORKS
When you arrive, you'll check in and receive your participant number and Kick-Axe Match Card.
Once speed dating begins, you'll have approximately 3 minutes with each person before our MC calls for the next rotation.
Three minutes may not sound like much—but it's enough time to figure out whether you'd like another conversation!
We'll have icebreaker questions available if you need a little help getting started.
💘 HOW MATCHING WORKS
See someone you'd like to talk to again?
Mark them on your Match Card.
At the end of your session, turn your card in to us.
If you picked them AND they picked you, congratulations—you've got a match!
We'll contact mutual matches after the event so there's no awkward rejection and no guessing during the night.
🎃 DON'T LEAVE AFTER SPEED DATING!
October's Speed Dating Night falls the night before Halloween, so we're keeping the party going with a Kick-Axe Halloween Singles Mixer after the structured dating rounds. After the speed dating, we will have an hour on axe lanes reserved for the entire age group. We will be turning the lights down low and the dance music up starting at 9pm for an all ages mixer.
Grab another drink, throw some axes, play some games, and go back and talk to someone who caught your attention.
Even if you don't find your match during speed dating, you might find them at the bar afterward.

This is a 21+ event.
Registration is limited and may be temporarily waitlisted as necessary to maintain reasonably balanced dating groups.
Register only for the age session appropriate for you. Participants are expected to be respectful toward other guests and Axe & Ale House staff throughout the event.
Participation does not guarantee a romantic match. Contact information will only be exchanged following a mutual match.
