About this Event
This conference is launching our “Let’s Talk about Ket” campaign.
This campaign is in response to the rise of ketamine use across the city and nationally. This campaign aims to improve support and awareness around ketamine use.
This conference will allow you to learn more from the leading researchers, consultants, doctors and professionals working in the field. This conference is for professionals to become more aware of ketamine and how we can better support out communities.
Some of the speakers so far confirmed:
- Likewise drug and alcohol service – and those with lived experience
- Dr Richard Wassall BA(Hons) BM BCh D.Phil.(Oxon) A Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine
- Nicholas Boxall FRCSEd (Urol) Consultant Urological Surgeon and Spinal Injuries Urologist Research Lead, Princess Royal Spinal Cord Injuries Centre at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
This conference is delivered in partnership by Likewise, University of Sheffield, Urology and Pain Management, Sheffield City Council, The Corner and 1625.
A free lunch will be included.
For those who can only attend the afternoon, we are releasing afternoon tickets from 12.30pm to 4pm. A lunch is also included in the afternoon ticket option.
