Kent Priore, IN THE WAKE OF THE GODS
About this Event

''Kent Priore writes like a natural about the supernatural, and this is a marvelously dark and true novel. American fiction has found a terrific new voice. " - Joseph O'Neill, PEN/Faulkner Award-Winning Author
Kent Priore is the author of The Monsters Among Us. He writes dark literature where romanticism meets modern psychology for a macabre but hopeful depiction of inner struggle, and the human ability to endure. He is a fierce advocate for mental health awareness and for greater acceptance of neurodivergence. For this reason, themes of mental health are pronounced and ever present in his work, both the devastating and the hopeful aspects of it. He graduated with honors from Bard College with a BA in the Written Arts, and is a proud marginalized voice in the neurodivergent community.
Sam Rebelein is the Bram Stoker Award–nominated author of Edenville, Galloway's Gospel and the short story collection The Poorly Made and Other Things. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, with a focus on Memoir and Short Fiction. His work has appeared in PseudoPod, Bourbon Penn, Gamut, The Deadlands, Ellen Datlow’s The Best Horror of the Year, and elsewhere. Edenville also received a Wonderland Book Award for Best Novel. Sam lives, writes, and teaches in Poughkeepsie, NY.
