Kemper Creative Break

Through close looking, guided conversation, and a low-stakes creative-response activity, participants will explore the painting and reflect together, sharing diverse perspectives to collaboratively interpret the work of art. The discussion will also consider connections between themes in the artwork and the artist’s own lived experiences.

Kemper Creative Break is an ongoing program offering short, 30-minute experiences with art. Open to all and held on the third Wednesday of each month, activities range from guided conversations with works of art to facilitated gallery explorations and hands-on art-making.
