Fly back in time with the sights, sounds, and sweet swinging songs of the 1930s & 1940s at the Kelch Aviation Museum's wildly popular Vintage Hangar Dance on Saturday, June 20th, 2026!
Doors open at 5:30, music lasts til 10pm!
• Live music from the 18-piece Waunakee Big Band
• Raffles, including vintage airplane rides!
• Themed drinks (non-alcoholic) and snacks
• 1940s style dance class and contest
• "Ding A Ling" local food truck serving delicious dinners
• Vintage costume contest
• And of course airplanes!
Calling all swing dancers, music lovers, history nerds, aviation aficionados, and anyone who enjoys a good time. A family-friendly event that's fun for everyone, whether you like to dance, listen, or just watch.
Every ticket purchase supports the museum nonprofit's mission of sharing the joy and science of aviation with one and all. Tickets are $30 when purchased ahead, or $35 at the door.
