There’s so much to worry about, all the time – Relationships. Career. Misfortune. Current events. No matter how cleverly or cautiously we try to avoid problems, we still encounter them. We may think There’s nothing I can do. We feel uncertain, overwhelmed, distraught, anxious.
Buddha teaches that it’s our customary ways of thinking that lead us to distress and if we want to change the world we experience, we start by changing our thoughts. It’s not possible to control the external world (even though we try to!). Through meditation it is possible to control our mind, develop a peaceful mind, transform every difficulty in our lives into opportunities and to help us face problems with wisdom.
