Kiállítás ajánló
"Ez a kiállítás számomra nem egyszerűen képek együttese, hanem egy olyan út lenyomata, amely nem lineáris, hanem spirális természetű. Visszatér, ismétel, körbejár — de minden kör egy másik szinten történik. Az eltévedés ebben a mozgásban nem kitérés, hanem szükségszerű mozzanat: a centrum elvesztése, majd újrafelismerése. Az út így nem a haladás illúziója, hanem a lényeg körüli fokozatos közelítés.
A „hibrid” ebben az értelemben nem pusztán esztétikai vagy stiláris kevertség, hanem a különböző ontológiai és szellemi rétegek egyidejű jelenléte. Az antik és a modern itt nem időbeli kategóriák, hanem minőségek: a tradíció és a fragmentáció, az egység és a széthullás dialektikája, amely az alkotás folyamatában feloldódni látszik.
Festői praxisomban a kép nem reprezentáció, hanem feltárás. A forma nem dekoratív elem, hanem jel – olyan szimbólum, amely túlmutat önmagán, és egy magasabb rendű struktúrára utal. A képeken megjelenő mitikus alakok – görög, germán és keresztény ikonográfiai elemeket hordozva – nem narratív szereplők, hanem archetipikus princípiumok manifesztációi. Jelenlétük a ciklikusságot idézi: a keletkezés és elmúlás, a felemelkedés és alászállás örök ritmusát.
Az alkotás folyamata számomra ennek a ciklikus és spirális mozgásnak a tudatosítása. Az út filozófiája itt nem célorientált, hanem visszatérő: a kiindulóponthoz való visszajutás, amely azonban már nem azonos az eredetivel. Ebben az értelemben a hős útja sem lineáris történet, hanem egy beavatási kör, ahol az eltévedés, a szétesés és az újraszerveződés a transzformáció szükséges állomásai.
A két helyszínen egyszerre megjelenő kiállítás ennek a kettősségnek és egységnek a térbeli megfelelője: mintha ugyanazon centrum két vetületét látnánk, eltérő perspektívákból. A néző mozgása a terek között így maga is részévé válik ennek a spirális tapasztalatnak.
Számomra a festészet nem autonóm esztétikai gyakorlat, hanem a tradícióval való kapcsolat helyreállításának kísérlete. Nem múltidézés, hanem jelenidejű visszacsatlakozás egy olyan rendhez, amely a modernitás fragmentáltságában rejtve marad, de nem szűnik meg létezni."

"For me, this exhibition is not merely a collection of images, but the imprint of a journey whose nature is not linear, but spiral. It returns, repeats, and circles back—yet each rotation unfolds on a different level. Within this movement, disorientation is not a deviation but a necessary moment: the loss of the centre, followed by its rediscovery. The journey, therefore, is not the illusion of progress, but a gradual approach towards essence.
In this sense, the “hybrid” does not simply denote aesthetic or stylistic hybridity, but the simultaneous presence of different ontological and spiritual strata. The ancient and the modern are not temporal categories here, but qualities: the dialectic of tradition and fragmentation, unity and disintegration, which appears to dissolve within the process of creation.
Within my painterly practice, the image is not representation, but revelation. Form is not a decorative element, but a sign—a symbol that points beyond itself towards a higher order of structure. The mythic figures that appear in the works—bearing elements of Greek, Germanic, and Christian iconography—are not narrative characters, but manifestations of archetypal principles. Their presence evokes cyclicality: the eternal rhythm of genesis and decay, ascent and descent.
For me, the process of creation is the conscious realisation of this cyclical and spiral movement. The philosophy of the journey is not goal-oriented, but recursive: a return to the point of origin, which is no longer identical with itself. In this sense, the hero’s journey is not a linear narrative, but an initiatory cycle, in which disorientation, fragmentation, and reconfiguration are necessary stages of transformation.
The exhibition, unfolding simultaneously across two venues, serves as a spatial counterpart to this duality and unity: as though we were witnessing two projections of the same centre from different perspectives. The viewer’s movement between the spaces thus becomes part of this spiral experience.
For me, painting is not an autonomous aesthetic practice, but an attempt to restore a connection with tradition. It is not an evocation of the past, but a present-tense reconnection to an order that remains concealed within the fragmentation of modernity, yet has never ceased to exist."
