In April we're returning to the Browns River Saltmarsh to maintain the entrance and 'the far end' of the reserve at the end of Balmoral Rd, Kingston Beach.We'll be weeding and trimming and preparing areas for 2 planting bees over winter.
This reserve has been flourishing since we started working here in 2020. It's a pleasure to work in this area. The main weeds are plantain, mallow and exotic grasses.
Grab your gardening gloves, weather appropriate gear and head on down. If you feel like it, we could grab a hot drink and lunch at Eb and Flow afterwards.
Hope to see you at the entrance at the end of Balmoral Rd at 10am on the day!
