Come and join your Councillors Anne Henry, Allan Sole and Rodney Joyce for a cup of tea and kōrero about what's happening in our Katikati -Waihī communities!
🤝This is an informal hui to get your voice heard about any matters relating to our Katikati - Waihī Beach communities, learn more about local projects, build relationships, information about funding and grants, kerbside recycling, emergency management (an opportunity to experience a natural hazard simulation through VR goggles), and discuss common queries.
Key Projects Highlighted: Notable community projects like the Heron Crescent elder housing redevelopment, Te Ara Mātauranga – Waihī Beach Library and Community Hub, and the Ahi Pātiki crossing will be showcased. Other projects include upgrades to the Dave Hume Pool, Katikati Wastewater Disposal Future Directions and Waihī Beach Stormwater projects.

Community Engagement Opportunities: Residents can connect with ward councillors and project teams to discuss local initiatives and provide feedback on water services as part of the Local Water Done Well reform.
Interactive Experiences: Attendees will have access to information on kerbside recycling, community grants, and emergency management, including a natural hazard simulation through VR goggles.
