A message from Katie:
Hey y’all! I have some exciting news…I’ve been recording an album and it’s finally almost time to share it with you!! It’s called “Time for Moving On,” and it’s a solo acoustic album of seven original songs. This’ll be my first time releasing music, and this album wouldn’t exist without Clay Parker, who encouraged me to record in the first place and was the best studio engineer I could’ve asked for.
This album is really special to me because even six months ago, I wasn’t sure if I would ever be able to play music again. I have been dealing with a chronic pain condition for the past two years that made playing guitar and doing so many other things impossible. I’ve had four surgeries, and I'm still recovering. I still have pain at times and I'm still limited in some ways, but I'm doing much better than I was. So, this album is about moving forward.
