On November 8, 2026, this year, My friend (Ms. Janya Ruangthep) from Thailand and I will be the host for "Kathina Ceremony" at Wat Buddhajakramongkolratanaram, in Escondido, California.

The Kathina ceremony is a major annual Theravada Buddhist festival where laypeople gather to present new robes and offerings to the Sangha (monastic community). It takes place during a one-month window immediately following the three-month monsoon Rains Retreat (Vassa), typically falling between October and November.
