This heart-led gathering brings together Karuna Holy Fire® Reiki and a ceremonial cacao experience, offering a deeply nourishing space for rest, reconnection, and gentle healing. It is part of the Roots & Resilience Programme, a series of funded community events designed to support wellbeing, connection, and access to therapeutic practices, particularly for those who may not usually be able to attend such spaces. This event is fully funded and free to attend.
Roots & Resilience is a community wellbeing programme created to foster connection, emotional support, and nervous system care through accessible, trauma-aware practices. The programme centres inclusivity, cultural respect, and gentleness, offering spaces where people can arrive exactly as they are, without pressure to perform, fix, or explain themselves. These events are especially intended to support people from low-income and underrepresented communities, though everyone is warmly welcome.
Karuna Holy Fire® Reiki is a compassionate, non-invasive healing energy that supports emotional release, inner peace, empowerment, and restoration. It works gently and intelligently, flowing where it is most needed without effort or force. Holy Fire® is a new form of Reiki energy that is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. It works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up. Holy Fire® is both powerful and gentle, providing purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. Those who receive it report feeling deeply nurtured and held, and it tends to develop healthy personality traits such as love, joy, kindness, patience, confidence and vitality. During the session, Jan will gently weave Karuna Holy Fire® into the space, allowing the energy to support whatever is present for each participant. Holy Fire® continues to work beyond the session, integrating naturally over time.
Azim and Sam will bring their widely known cacao ceremony into the space. The cacao used is ethically sourced ceremonial-grade cacao, prepared with intention and respect for its origins and traditions.
Cacao has been used for centuries in Indigenous Central and South American cultures as a heart-opening plant medicine, supporting emotional connection, grounding, clarity, and a sense of belonging. In this ceremony, cacao is used gently and consciously to support inner listening and connection. The ceremony may include intention-setting, breath, sound, music, guided reflection, and moments of stillness. Everything offered is optional and invitational. No prior experience with cacao or ceremony is required.
Azim Nobeebaccus - Azim is a respected wellbeing practitioner, educator, and founder of Moksha, a platform and community dedicated to embodied healing, conscious connection, and inclusive wellbeing practices. His work spans international retreats, trainings, and community-based programmes, where he weaves together traditional wisdom, embodiment, somatic awareness, and culturally sensitive ceremonial practice. With many years of experience working across diverse communities, Azim is deeply committed to accessibility, trauma-aware facilitation, and decolonised approaches to wellbeing. He is particularly known for creating spaces where people feel genuinely safe, seen, and supported, regardless of background, identity, or prior experience.
Through Moksha and his wider work, Azim brings a grounded, ethical, and heart-centred approach to ceremony and healing, bridging ancient practices with modern community care, and offering spaces that prioritise authenticity, consent, and connection.
Samantha Nobeebaccus - Sam is a space holder whose work centres on women’s empowerment, nervous system regulation, and embodied healing. She runs the Wild, Free & Empowered women's circle, creating safe, compassionate spaces where women can reconnect with their voices, bodies, and inner wisdom. Her work weaves together sound, ceremony, intuitive guidance, and presence, supporting emotional integration and deep listening. Sam’s offerings are rooted in gentleness and inclusivity, with a strong emphasis on trauma-aware practice, consent, and meeting people exactly where they are. Through her women’s circles, cacao ceremonies, and sound-based work, Sam supports people in reclaiming softness, strength, and authenticity, often holding spaces where shared experience and collective resonance become powerful sources of healing.
Jan Muse (Magical Muse Medicine Weaver) - Jan is a Karuna Holy Fire® Reiki practitioner, medicine weaver, and founder of Magical Muse, a body of work devoted to reconnection, remembrance, and gentle healing through nature-based wisdom, energy work, and creative ritual. With a background rooted in both modern healing practices and ancestral ways of knowing, Jan’s work weaves together Reiki, plant and flower essences, seasonal cycles, sound, storytelling, and intuitive ritual. Her approach is deeply informed by the rhythms of the natural world, honouring slowness, sensitivity, and the intelligence of the nervous system. Through Magical Muse, Jan has spent many years holding circles, workshops, and one-to-one sessions that support people, particularly those who have felt disconnected, burnt out, or unheard, to reconnect with their inner landscapes and innate wisdom. Her work carries a quiet strength, grounded in trust, presence, and reverence for what is already whole.
This is a free, funded event, offered as part of the Roots & Resilience Programme. We especially welcome those from low-income or underrepresented communities, and those who may not usually access wellbeing or ceremonial spaces. No experience is needed. Everything is optional. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and take care of your own needs throughout. We are happy to answer any questions about Karuna Holy Fire®, cacao, or the session itself.
