"on the search for the gig that kicks, djing for me is always an ideal state depending on the situation. my dj heart beats for earcandy sounds, noisy, trippy, deep-driving techno, with minimalist semitones and rolling basslines that need space to unfold, wrap around you, and lift you up. fluttering clicks over an expanding surface, switch off the mind and keep going: space-rave that runs when it’s running. playing with vinyl and choosing techno is also an attempt to counterbalance, even for a moment, a complex society. most important: i play techno from and with vinyl. i always support flintas* behind the decks and play against the dj patriarchy."

Marivs's passion for electronic music began in the early 90s. A perfectionist and a techno purist, he has gained a great deal of esteem for his meticulous mixing and for the delicate, driving hypnosis he puts people under from behind the decks. Marivs began professionally DJing before the days of social media and has a deep respect for authentic underground culture; his vision is to expose his audience to the true values of techno.
