About the Kaiwara:
The Kaiwara Hills Sunrise Trek, located near Bangalore in the historic town of Kaiwara, is a short and scenic early-morning hike ideal for beginners and nature lovers. The trail takes you through rocky paths, gentle slopes, and patches of greenery, gradually leading to a hilltop that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Trekkers usually start before dawn to catch a mesmerizing sunrise, where the sky lights up in hues of orange and pink, making the effort truly rewarding. The trek is also culturally significant, as Kaiwara is associated with the poet-saint Yogi Kaiwara Narayana Taata, adding a spiritual touch to the experience. • Around 03:30 AM Reach the trek base and rest for a while
• Around 05:30 AM Start the trek
• 06:30 AM Reach the peak and watch the sunrise
• Stay on the peak for sometime and indulge in photography
• 07:00 AM Descend down to the base
• 08:30 AM Reach back to the base
• 09:00 AM Have breakfast at the restaurant
• 11:30 AM Reach back to Bangalore
