On the the 4th Saturday of every month, we serve our unhoused neighbors by cooking and serving a meal to them. At Kairos Kitchen, we are intentional about making every person who walks through our doors feel like they are cared for as a person so we serve like they are our guests in our home or patrons of our restaurant. To make this happen, we need volunteers for two major areas:
1) Cooking and Set-Up from 2pm - 5pm
2) Serving and Talking with Folks from 5pm - 7pm
If you are able to stay for the whole event, please do, but we especially need help when we serve food beginning at 5pm. Please arrive at 4:45pm for an orientation and introduction.
We serve in Rothwell Hall, you can park in the parking lot on Pearl Street or Broadway and walk into the church where people will point you in the right direction.
