2026 Let’s Ride Challenge: Ride for Heroes at Teddy Morse’s Cowboy Harley-DavidsonThe 2026 Let’s Ride Challenge is here — and it’s bigger than ever. It kicked off February 27th, and it runs through October 31st, riders across the country are hitting the road to honor military members, veterans, and first responders — with a collective goal of logging 100 million miles and donating $1 million to organizations that support our nation’s heroes.
At Teddy Morse’s Cowboy Harley-Davidson - Beaumont, we’re proud to be part of the southeast Texas riding community and a gathering place for riders from across the area. If there’s a cause worth riding for, this is it. Here’s everything you need to know to get registered, start logging miles, and make every ride count.
What Is the Let’s Ride Challenge?
The Let’s Ride Challenge is a nationwide mileage challenge organized by Harley-Davidson. Riders register, visit participating dealerships to validate their odometer readings, and accumulate miles throughout the riding season. Those miles contribute to a national goal — and your chance at winning one of five brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The 2026 theme is “Ride for Heroes.” Every mile logged supports a $1 million donation to organizations like Wounded Warrior Project, American Legion Riders, VFW, Rolling Thunder, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Buffalo Soldiers, Motorcycle Missions, and Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.).
New for 2026: All Bikes, All Riders
This year, the Let’s Ride Challenge is open to every rider, regardless of what motorcycle brand you ride. You don’t need to own a Harley-Davidson, and you don’t need to be a Harley Owners Group member to participate.
If you ride, you’re welcome. That said, H.O.G. members do earn the most — more on that in a bit.
How to Register
Getting started is simple. You have four ways to sign up:
Stop by Teddy Morse’s Cowboy Harley-Davidson and scan our in-dealer QR code (fastest way to register and get your first reading in one visit)
Download the H-D App (iOS or Android) and register through the app
Visit h-dletsride.com to register online
Scan Let’s Ride Challenge QR codes at select H-D events, the H-D Museum, or Riding Academy locations
Important: Your miles don’t start counting until your first odometer reading is validated at a dealership. Once you register, ride over to Teddy Morse's Cowboy Harley-Davidson - Beaumont and get that first reading on the books.
How Odometer Readings Work
Odometer readings are done right at your bike using your phone or device:
Enter your VIN and current mileage on your device
Find a Validator at the dealership (ask Susie at the front desk or anyone in Service, MotorClothes or Parts can help you.)
The Validator scans their QR code, visually confirms your odometer reading, and submits.
That’s it — quick and easy. Every time you visit for a reading, you earn 20 engagement points.
Rewards You Can Earn
As you rack up miles, you’ll earn exclusive rewards:
First Odometer Reading — Sticker
500 Miles — Keychain
1,000 Miles — Coin
2,500 Miles — Flashlight
5,000 Miles — Hat + 2,500 bonus points (H.O.G. members) or complimentary 1-year H.O.G. membership (non-member H-D riders)
10,000 Miles — Water Bottle
Final October Reading — Patch
(while they last)
Rewards are available to all participants regardless of motorcycle brand, except the 5,000-mile milestone, which is limited to H-D riders and H.O.G. members.
Compete to Win a New Motorcycle
Five riders will win a brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, awarded across mileage tiers:
Silver (1–2,500 miles) — Nightster
Gold (2,501–4,000 miles) — Street Bob
Platinum (4,001–5,500 miles) — Fat Boy
Diamond (5,501–7,500 miles) — Street Glide
Black & Orange (7,501+ miles) — CVO Road Glide ST
Winners are determined by the highest Rev Score in each tier. Your Rev Score combines your validated miles with engagement points earned through dealership odometer readings (20 points each) and weekly keyword submissions (10 points each). The more you visit and engage, the better your chances.
Why H.O.G. Members Earn the Most
You don’t have to be a Harley Owners Group member to participate, but membership comes with real advantages:
2,500 bonus points at the 5,000-mile milestone
A $5,000 bonus if you win a motorcycle
Miles logged automatically count toward H.O.G. Ride 365 annual, lifetime, and chapter totals
If you’re already riding a Harley-Davidson and you’re not a member, this is a great time to sign up. Ask our team at about membership when you stop in for your first reading.
