- Judge changed to Laurence E. Busching
- The District Attorney was out on medical leave. She had requested an extention for her response to the motion filed by Mosely's attorney, Paul London. We are unsure what the motion was but we believe it might have been to dismiss video evidence (of Mosely carrying Mercy into is apartment, still alive)
- The DA had until March 17th to respond to the motion. Judge Busching will have his response by Apr 28th
- Both Mosely and his attorney exhibited reprehensible behavior today. Mosely allgedly "lunged" at protesters as they passed him in the court and gave them the middle finger. He reposed on a bench outside the courtroom as if he were laying on his living room sofa - not a care in the world
- Mosely's attorney Paul London was overheard by several portesters saying "all this over a cat?" in a mocking tone.
London is attempting to drag these court proceedings on so that protesters lose steam - but we will not.
As always, please DO NOT engage directly with Mosely in public, do not make death threats, do not encroach on his space.
(I've been working on the Mercy case since day 1 - I finally received the video of Mercy still alive (not well looking though), in David Mosley arms. It's devastating, heartbreaking seeing her being petted on the chin by her killer. We will forward any evidence we discover, the the Assistant DA. Thank you PETA.)

That's what the suspect allegedly wrote when he posted a photo of a cat he had reportedly tortured & bludgeoned to death--for social media "likes." Her body lay motionless in a pool of blood. 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺. 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.
Activists took direct action and identified the suspect, located him back in October 2025, the detectives arrested him. Now, as he faces animal cruelty felony charges, we're mobilizing supporters & demanding accountability.
Local animal advocates named that cat 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆. Together, we're making sure she isn't forgotten--& protecting other animals from the pain & fear she suffered.🕯️🫶🏼🐾⚖️
