Just for Fun Singers

Join your favorite “Singer Citizens” as we present for you a Just-For-Fun Concert that will make you feel all soft and warm inside. Like Brownies and Ice Cream.Wonder Wednesday is pleased to present the Just For Fun Singers chorus for an evening of delicious music, fun people and a great time.

The Just For Fun Singers chorus believes that through vocal music, we bring joy to all our audiences. This joy is instrumental in keeping lives–both audience and choir–enriched, healthy and active.

We are a much sought-after group of experienced and talented volunteer singers who sing primarily at Retirement and Assisted Living communities, and other groups who might not be able to leave their communities to go to a concert. We transport concerts to them! And have fun doing it. We are thrilled to bring our Spring Concert songs to the performing stage at Chemeketa Community College, and show you “A Little Nonsense” and a lot of heart.

Founded by former Chemeketa Music Director Judy Dyer in 1993, our chorus has been directed by Susan Brewster for the last eight years.

Based in Salem, Oregon, the Just For Fun Singers chorus invites all singers to come sing along at our Friday morning rehearsals. Our music is fun to sing. Talk with any of our choir members for more info on how you can join The Fun! We practice each Friday morning (10:00 a.m.), at the Salem First Christian Church, 685 Marion Street NE.

The Just For Fun Singers chorus is an all-volunteer, Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with members from communities throughout the Mid-Willamette valley.
