The sonic journey will be driven by unique sounds of Global Fusion music; a vibrant tapestry weaving together deep, earthy tribal percussion, ethereal ancient melodies, and modern, heart-thumping basslines. Expect rhythms that transcends borders, calling on the beats to shake the sand from your shoes.
Come thirsty for movement and connection. Be prepared to leave drenched in joy.
Lush radiant visuals will be crafted live by the talented VJ Kashub.

Praxis is an ecstatic dancer and a wizard king who leads dancers on progressive journeys through atmospheric soundscapes. Playing his djembe dream and remixing tracks, Praxis adds layers to music that convey his thematic intention for the experience. For this set at Just Dance, Praxis will be exploring the groovyness of ligther than usual beats combined with the intricate flavors of global fusion.

Abheeru has cultivated a profound and rapturous relationship to Global Fusion music, DJing, community service and dancing. As the founder of Just Dance, he has produced, promoted and DJed more than 600 events for over 55,000 dancers, all in the spirit of service as he has always wanted for JD to donate all of its proceeds to local charities and nonprofit groups. For over two decades, he has continued to innovate, inspire and promote new musical concepts for the Vancouver dance community.

As a DJ, Abheeru is known for taping into an extensive palette of genres and styles from far-reaching locations around the world. His main passion is to infuse and mix a wide range of musical organic elements and instruments from many diverse cultures and to blend those with delectable and powerful modern dance beats. The results are exquisitely creative dance sets that will keep your dancing soul and shoes happy.

Kashub is passionately dedicated to augmenting dancefloors with beautiful, lush, and meaningful visuals. Driven by this, he intuitively syncs his artistic output to the shifting mood of the room and the evolving music. He hopes to help elevate the immersive experience, making every event a synesthetic journey where sight and sound merge.
Kashub's name stems from the tribe of his ancestry situated along what is now the Baltic Coast of Poland. The tribe, now dispersed and displaced, lived peacefully isolated amidst sand dunes and swamps along the Baltic since before the dawn of the State of the Teutonic Order some 800 years ago.
