Junior Record Maker: For Little Hands and Big Memories

In today’s digital world, music is often invisible. To most kids, a "song" is just a button on a screen. ART/ST Records is changing that.

Join us for a 90-minute hands-on workshop where your child becomes a Junior Record Maker. We’re stepping away from the tablet and into the studio to explore the tactile, wonderful world of physical media.

• The Story of Sound: A kid-friendly look at physical music. We’ll show them what CDs and cassette tapes are, and how vinyl records work!
• Live Lathe Demo: You and your child will stand side-by-side to watch our vintage machine live-carve sound into a real record.
• Creative Cover Art: Kids will spend the session designing and drawing their own custom record sleeve—turning their favorite sounds into a piece of art.
• The Assembly: Parents, this is your moment! You’ll help your Junior Record Maker assemble the final product, creating a record to take home.

1. Submit Your Sound: After booking, you’ll send us your audio recording (a favorite song, a message, or even your child singing!).
2. We Prepare the Record: We’ll have everything ready for your session.
3. You Create the Memory: Show up, design, watch the demo, and assemble your masterpiece.

• Take Home: A completed, playable record with custom DIY artwork.
