Juneteenth Freedom Day Event

The From Trouble to Triumph Juneteenth Celebration is a powerful community event designed to honor freedom, celebrate culture, and uplift the voices of youth who have overcome adversity. Hosted on June 20th from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Liberty International Church, this event will bring together families, community leaders, and young people for an afternoon of inspiration, education, and celebration.

A key highlight of the event will be a youth panel featuring participants from the From Trouble to Triumph Program, where students will courageously share their personal journeys, testimonies, and advice for other young people who may be facing similar challenges. Their stories will reflect resilience, growth, and the power of mentorship and opportunity.

In addition to the youth panel, the event will feature special guest speakers who will educate and inspire attendees on the historical and cultural importance of Juneteenth. These speakers will help connect the legacy of freedom and perseverance to the importance of empowering the next generation.
