Juneteenth Community Art Space + Afro-Indigenous Talking Circle
About this Event
On June 19, our Community Center will be open from 2:00–6:00 PM for regular Friday Drop-In Hours. Community members are invited to stop by, connect, create art, and spend time together in an informal and welcoming space.
At 6:00 PM, we will gather for an Afro-Indigenous Talking Circle led by Sutton King. In recognition of Juneteenth, this facilitated conversation will create space to reflect on liberation, identity, community, and the ongoing work of collective healing.
The Talking Circle is only available to those who identify as Afro-Indigenous.
