Welcome to the June Marietta Housing Forum!

Join us at First Presbyterian Church for a conversation with Kevin Pounds on Bridge Communities- a new organization building cottage communities on faith-based land.

Kevin Pounds is a Cobb County native and serves as the Executive Director of Bridge Communities, a nonprofit he launched with community stakeholders in March 2025. Bridge Communities works to transform underutilized church properties into safe, hope-filled cottage communities for families in crisis.

Prior to launching Bridge Communities, Kevin spent 18 years in the Northeast planting churches and leading urban ministries focused on serving historically disenfranchised populations. He also invested more than a decade with ANEW Place, a homeless services organization in Burlington, Vermont—beginning as a volunteer and eventually serving as Executive Director.

Most recently, Kevin served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at MUST Ministries, where he worked across Metro Atlanta to deepen impact for families and individuals on the margins.

Outside of his work, Kevin enjoys spending time outdoors with his family—his wife, Christin, their children Jude (16), Wren (14), and Skye (11), and their two doodles, Moose and Maple.

A light breakfast will be served.

The event is free, but please consider donating a canned good or other non-perishable item to help support Pantry on Church for our host, First Presbyterian Church.

Please park in the "West Parking Lot" and walk across the bridge to the front entrance.
