June Jewels: A Jewelry Making Workshop Series
SCRAP will be partnering with our neighbors at Bayview's Cafe Alma to host this new and exciting series.

Workshop Description
Get into the stained glass groove and create your own stained glass jewelry piece with Maya Djiji! Maya will guide you through the entire process: from creating a design, to choosing and cutting your glass, and through the tools and soldering process to create a beautiful pendant sized piece of jewelry.
Please note we have a sliding scale for tickets for this event! The breakdown is as follows:
General Admission #1: Covers the cost of workshop and materials

General Admission #3: Covers cost of workshop, materials, supports the instructor, and helps keep our workshops more accessible for those in need

About the Artist
Maya Djiji is a multimedia artist from Los Angeles who has resided in the Bay Area for 6 years and graduated from CCA in 2020. Her practice involves using a very saturated color palette and any material she can get her hands on. She has worked in a multitude of art making studios and worked closely with many Bay Area artists. She has taught a wide range of classes to groups of all ages and is very passionate about sharing her love and knowledge of art making. IG: @mayadjiji
