June Jewels: A Jewelry Making Workshop Series
SCRAP is partnering with our neighbors at Bayview's Cafe Alma to host this new and exciting series.
Workshop Location: Cafe Alma: 888 Ines Ave, SF, CA- 94124
Workshop Description
Lily will guide you through the process of giving a wearable edge to the little treasures we keep in trinket boxes. Participants are more than welcome to bring their own treasures or old jewelry, but there will also be materials available from SCRAP. Ideally bring non-flammable and non-meltable pieces. We will be using hot soldering irons so please keep that in mind as you register!
Please note we have a sliding scale for tickets for this event! The break down is as follows:
General Admission #1: Covers the cost of workshop and materials

About the Artist
Originally from Oakland, California, Lily Marylander recently graduated from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She double majored in Sculpture and Jewelry Metal Arts with a minor in Ecological Practices. Her mixed practice aims to spark conversation, exploring themes of the body, mixed identity, and her transition into adulthood.
When not creating in her Oakland studio, she enjoys cooking, dancing, and hanging out with her pet ball python, Cheesecake.
