Hello! I’m Laura! I’m a quilter, pattern designer, deal hunter, and homeschooling mom of three boys. I’m also an ex-math teacher—and with a last name like Piland—there’s a strong love of pi in our house! I have been designing and publishing quilt patterns since 2016. My work has been included in magazines, newspapers, fabric company catalogs and lookbooks, and industry email newsletters and campaigns. My quilt patterns are available at quilt shops worldwide and from the industry’s top distributors. It is so much fun meeting quilters at shops, retreats, guild meetings, and other quilty events around the country, and I would love to meet your group too! Let’s sew something together!
