Join us on Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the OSU Auditorium at the Mayes County Fairgrounds as we come together to sew chair pad covers for residents of nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities.
This project was inspired by a special request from the Chouteau Nursing Home. These simple 20" x 20" chair pads provide comfort and, more importantly, help bring a little dignity and a personal touch to residents who spend much of their day in wheelchairs.
Bring your sewing machine, sewing supplies, and any fabric you'd like to donate. Any fabric that is comfortable to sit on can be used, and we will have fabric and batting scraps available for everyone.
Whether you sew one cover or twenty, every stitch will make a difference in someone's day.
Let's come together as quilters and neighbors to share our talents, our compassion, and a little extra comfort with those who need it most. ❤️
