This meeting will feature Phil Rizzuto sharing what we might be seeing in our hives this time of year:
~Honey production
~How to prepare for honey collection, and when
~What to do when the nectar flow dies back and we are left with the 'dearth'
And we will continue the discussion from last month about different treatment options for the varroa mite, including but not limited to:
~Medications
~Supplements
~Strategic brood breaks
~Regular splits
~Allowing some swarming expression
~Diverse foliage and excellent nutrition
