When Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo suddenly find themselves shipped halfway across the world, they crash-land on the island of Madagascar; a place packed with crazy creatures, colorful lemurs, and one very charismatic King Julien!

Lost in the wild, the gang must learn what it really means to be friends, to stick together, and to discover where they truly belong.
